The workshop was incorporated in 1974 and has been in the present facility since 2004. S.E.E., Inc., has an average employment of 28 people with disabilities and 4 staff employees.
Employees working in the sheltered workshop program are taught vocational skills and learn how to progress toward their full potential.
These employees earn a paycheck and become productive citizens of the community, bringing to them a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment that might not otherwise be available.
Our facility has approximately 15,000 square feet of production space with approximately 15,000 square feet of warehouse space plus a loading dock to accommodate truck and trailer delivery and pick up.
We take great pride in the work we perform in areas such as packaging, assembly, sorting, sewing and labeling. We also do silk screening.
We presently have single stitch sergers and double-needle sewing machines. Our layout room has a 44-foot table with a CRA spreading machine capable of spreading 66" width material on 1 1/2" to 2" core rolls.
We manufacture a number of work aprons including those for nails, shop and the kitchen. We also produce tote bags and dog leashes.
We sew and package absorbent packaging pads and a skirt with an elastic waist band. We are equipped to do assembly and packaging work including the use of heat sealing. Custom sewing for specialty items is also available. Below are pictures of our new tornado proof shelter for protecting our workers and staff.
